Sometimes it takes me a while.
Now I know the one thing I don’t like about Fall, previously thought of as my favorite season.
These are the leaves on the tree in my front yard. I don’t know what kind of tree it is (Help with that, please, someone?) but they are all over my neighborhood. It’s the end of October, the Fall Foliage is past its prime viewing time. This is what’s left on the tree.
Pretty sparse, huh, compared to what it was 2 or 3 months ago? The ones that are left up there will be down soon.
Here’s where they are now, on the sidewalk in front of the steps to the front door. Lots of them. More each day.
There’s already about 12 million of them tracked into the house, and every day, more stick to our shoes or the dog’s paws, and make the journey.
I don’t like to vacuum and I’m starting to not like “Fall.”
