Game 1, National League East
Raced home from work to see as much of the game as possible, and so glad I did.
Got to see Halladay toss his second no-hitter this year!!!  What a game!

A few days ago, we were out and about running errands, picking up a few grocery items, some buttons for a sweater I just finished knitting, a stop at the post office. The button store had other things in it, and was near the craft store. We wandered through quite a few stores we didn’t need to go into.
When we got home, there was a list of chores that needed tending, laundry, meal preparation. Long list.
Several hours later, Pop showed me what he had found when I had wandered off to look at who-knows-what.

Another sheep in my collection
Remembered to attend the Monday night meeting of the Kent County Knit/Crochet Guild – I do so enjoy going, sitting with the other women, looking at everyone’s projects, trading stories, helping each other, planning future events and trips. The Manning’s in the spring? Ooooh, I’ll have to start buying Lottery tickets cause I’d hate to be broke in that place. It could cause me to have a stroke!
One of our ladies is going to host a Yarn Tasting party on the first weekend in December, showing us all ArtFibers yarns. She has attended one before and brought us sample bits to see. Ming! In the pinks or the blues. Oh, this stuff is beautiful. I think several children will get less for Christmas!
And whilst I was out, Himself found a project to help keep him busy. The dishwasher hasn’t been draining properly, and the water left behind gets pretty stinky pretty quickly. His mission was to figure out why. He found clogs in the lines to the drain pump and even found broccoli inside the pump. It’s working much better now.
Rain all day did not make for nice picture taking weather. Have to improvise here. Always have a camera with me!

On my porch step first thing in the morning!
