My oldest 3 grandchildren are cousins to Jesse. Please let this be an inability to get through to her family because of power outages or internet issues.
Thoughts are with that family, and all who are, and who will be affected by these tragedies that have occurred in Japan.
And thinking of Kate’s friend and former neighbor, Val, and her family, as they evacuate from a military base in Japan. Before going overseas on orders, the military always briefs the families. One gem of wisdom provided is to ALWAYS be able to get to your passports in a hurry – know exactly where they are.
Sadly, this is why.
Keeping my eyes closed

Someone who already has 3 spinning wheels in the living room and not enough spare time to keep both bathrooms clean should not look at MORE spinning wheels. I mean, there’s no sense in tempting yourself when you know another one is simply out of the question, both space-wise in the house and financially. And really, with only one pair of hands, why, oh why, would anyone even look at the pictures of new wheels coming out.
From Ashford, those folks in New Zealand (that place with all the sheep) that have already provided me with two wheels. Already. TWO.
But there’s a new one coming out in May. A production wheel that will go so much faster.
Gah! I’m not looking.
